S5 Equity's investment model is focused on pursuing businesses facing operational and/or financial headwinds that often require new ownership. Because of this, we will assume reasonable business, financial and technological risks.
S5 has no set formula on how its investments are structured, as long as the interests of our firm and other shareholders are aligned to build long-term value. Typical transactions include owner operator transitions, corporate divestitures, carve-outs of non-core business units, and other time-critical opportunities.
At S5 we pursue acquisition opportunities in the lower middle market within North America. Our focus is companies generating revenue between $10 million to $500 million and often facing profitability challenges. Primary sectors of interest include consumer product, retail & eCommerce, media & publishing, technology, and manufacturing.
